The Gothenburg Region, in Norway, is seeking partners for an Erasmus+ CoVE proposal

The Gothenburg Region is seeking partners for an Erasmus+ CoVE proposal (ERASMUS-EDU-2026-PEX-COVE) focused on strengthening vocational education and training (VET) systems to enhance societal resilience and civil preparedness. The project addresses growing challenges such as climate disruptions, cyber threats and infrastructure vulnerabilities by developing skills needed to maintain essential services during crises. It aims to create a transferable European model integrating VET into regional resilience strategies through improved curricula, teacher training, work-based learning and multi-stakeholder cooperation. The consortium will include at least eight partners from four countries, combining VET providers and industry actors, with a total budget of €4 million.
