The Municipality of Bicaz (Romania) is seeking partners for the CERV-2026-CITIZENSCIV-ENGAGEMENTBEYOND-ELECTIONS call to develop and implement a digital civic dialogue platform that enhances citizen participation in local governance. The project aims to address a lack of accessible participation channels by creating an inclusive, multilingual tool enabling public consultations, participatory budgeting, citizen feedback, and real-time communication between authorities and residents. It targets underrepresented groups such as youth, rural populations, and people with disabilities and includes transnational cooperation with experienced municipalities to ensure replicability. Expected outcomes include increased civic engagement, improved democratic processes and a scalable model for small municipalities, with an expression of interest deadline of 21 April 2026.

Aquarius Sas is seeking a city partner under the European Urban Initiative (ERDF) – Innovative Actions call to replicate its “Eco-Cooperative, Inclusive, Accessible Smart City” framework. The project aims to develop and test a set of integrated smart urban solutions combining IoT, data-driven systems, renewable energy, and energy-harvesting technologies to promote sustainability, social inclusion, accessibility and slow mobility. Designed as a modular and scalable “open-air laboratory,” the framework will enable real-life testing of innovative concepts in urban environments, contributing to greener, more resilient and digitally advanced cities. The project has a total budget of €2.5 million (up to 80% ERDF funding) and a duration of 30 months, with an expression of interest deadline of 15 June 2026.

Multiservicios Tritón (Spain) is seeking partners for a Euroclusters/Eurostars project focused on sustainable asphalt recycling solutions. The project aims to valorise industrial waste and organic byproducts as rejuvenating agents to restore aged bitumen in recycled asphalt mixtures, improving durability, flexibility, and performance while reducing fossil material use, emissions and waste. The approach combines advanced material science (e.g. FTIR-ATR analysis and diffusion modelling) with practical validation at pilot and real-scale levels. The consortium is looking for partners with expertise in asphalt emulsion design and manufacturing, particularly for recycling and low-emission applications, with an expression of interest deadline of 1 September 2026. A consortium led by partners from Denmark, Germany and Italy is seeking additional partners for the Horizon Europe call HORIZON-CL2-2026-01-DEMOCRACY-01, focused on tackling gender-based violence against politically active women and LGBTIQ people. The project will use a mixed-methods, multi-country approach combining qualitative research, quantitative surveys, interviews, and policy analysis to understand drivers, impacts, and participation patterns, as well as to develop prevention strategies and counter harmful narratives. It includes work on education, media and policy uptake, aiming to produce practical tools and recommendations for stakeholders such as policymakers, civil society and media actors. The consortium is looking for partners with expertise in social sciences, gender-based violence, education, media, and policy, with an expression of interest deadline of 29 May 2026 and a call deadline of 23 September 2026.
