Aalborg University and Aalborg University Hospital is seeking to join a consortia for Mission Cancer

A multidisciplinary team from Aalborg University Hospital and Aalborg University (Denmark) is seeking partners and a coordinator for the Horizon Europe call HORIZON-MISS-2026-02-CANCER-07, focused on improving the quality of life of older cancer patients. The team aims to develop an AI-based clinical decision support tool that combines diagnostic CT imaging and clinical data to predict severe chemotherapy toxicity and support personalised treatment planning for patients aged 65 and over. By enabling earlier risk identification and more tailored care pathways, the project seeks to improve patient safety, quality of life, and healthcare efficiency. Aalborg will contribute as a clinical partner and real-world testbed, providing access to high-quality multicentre data, clinical validation environments, and expertise in oncology, medical imaging, and predictive modelling. The consortium is seeking healthcare providers, AI and data science researchers, hospitals, industry partners, patient organisations, and regulatory experts. The expression of interest deadline is 1 September 2026, while the call closes on 15 September 2026.
