The Faculty of Science at Charles University (Czech Republic) is seeking an internationally recognised senior researcher to lead an ERA Chair proposal under HORIZON-WIDERA-2027-02-WIDENING-01 in Advanced Population Projections and Modelling. The successful candidate will establish a high-impact research group focused on cutting-edge demographic forecasting methods, including stochastic modelling, Bayesian approaches, microsimulation, and mortality modelling. The five-year project aims to strengthen demographic research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and institutional excellence while increasing the university’s competitiveness for future European funding.
