The Faculty of Science at Charles University (Czech Republic) is inviting expressions of interest from internationally recognised senior researchers to lead an ERA Chair proposal under HORIZON-WIDERA-2027-02-WIDENING-01 in Integrative Metabolic Physiology and Bioenergetics. The project will establish a new research group focusing on cellular bioenergetics, mitochondrial function, metabolomics, metabolic regulation, and physiological adaptation. The initiative aims to strengthen interdisciplinary research, attract competitive funding, and enhance research excellence through a five-year programme with a budget of approximately €2.5 million. The expression of interest deadline is 30 September 2026.
