International Open Call for 10 postdoctoral positions under the TALENT4RURALSCIENCE project (MSCA COFUND)
The TALENT4RURALSCIENCE (Scientific Talent for the Promotion of Rural Development) project has opened its International Open Call to recruit 10 postdoctoral researchers, within the framework of an initiative funded by the European Union through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions COFUND (MSCA COFUND) scheme.
TALENT4RURALSCIENCE is an innovative research and capacity-building programme aimed at strengthening research excellence and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, with a strategic focus on rural development, sustainability, and responses to complex societal challenges. The programme is hosted by the University of Extremadura (Spain) and offers an international, interdisciplinary research environment oriented towards scientific and societal impact.
Selected researchers will carry out their research activities within one of the three strategic research challenges, aligned with European priorities and current societal needs:
-
Sustainable development and natural resource management, including innovative approaches to environmental and territorial sustainability.
-
Innovation in health and technology for rural development, with particular attention to technological solutions adapted to rural contexts.
-
Education, inclusion and community development, aimed at strengthening social cohesion, equal opportunities and social innovation in rural areas.
TALENT4RURALSCIENCE seeks to attract excellent research talent, foster international mobility and promote knowledge transfer, contributing to the positioning of the research ecosystem in key areas for sustainable and territorial development.
