The MAS_UEx in Europe Project Boosts Participation in Horizon Europe in the Field of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics

The Más UEx en Europa project continues to strengthen the presence of the University of Extremadura (UEx) within the Horizon Europe programme, promoting the internationalisation of its research community. Through this initiative, UEx fosters mobility, cooperation, and the development of strategic projects across various fields of knowledge.

UEx in the HORIZON-MSCA-2024-SE-01 Call

The HORIZON-MSCA-2024-SE-01 call, framed within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), focuses on Staff Exchanges. Its purpose is to promote international, intersectoral, and interdisciplinary collaboration by facilitating the mobility of researchers, technicians, administrative and management staff among different organisations across Europe and beyond. These exchanges not only strengthen knowledge transfer but also stimulate the generation of new ideas and approaches in research and innovation.

Three UEx Proposals to Promote Internationalisation

Within this context, the University of Extremadura has submitted three proposals under this call, aligned with different strategic areas:

✅ Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
✅ Production Technologies
✅ Agri-food

As part of the MAS_UEx in Europe project, participation in Horizon Europe continues to be promoted across several areas, including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

With this commitment, the University of Extremadura continues to advance its goal of strengthening research mobility, international cooperation, and access to new opportunities within Horizon Europe.
