- QUIENES SOMOS:
INTROMAC is a public Research Institute of the Extremadura Regional Government (Spain) focused on improving competitiveness in energy-efficient building through R&D and innovation. Its research covers Energy Efficiency, Sustainability, materials, structures, Heritage and industrial processes, and is organized into two departments: Technologies & Sustainable Construction, and Ornamental Stones, Construction Products and Techniques.
- QUE OFRECEMOS:
Our capacity focuses on supporting Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) strategies through technical innovation in permeable surfaces. We engineer eco-designed porous mixtures utilizing diverse industrial residues that act as a primary physical filtration interface. We turn standard paving into a functional, waste-valorized bio-filter that protects groundwater quality by trapping sediments while enhancing natural recharge rates.
