ENergy aware BIM Cloud Platform in a COst-effective Building REnovation Context

ENCORE

Smart process to better plan, design, build and manage energy-efficient renovated buildings

To increase the number of renovated buildings in Europe and beyond the EU-funded ENCORE project will supply effective, cost-efficient building information modelling (BIM) tools that cover the entire renovation lifecycle. To do so, it will bring together relevant stakeholders to address energy efficiency and comfort. The project will develop a system integrating services that acquire data from buildings. Tenants will be provided with mobile tools to obtain images or other indoor information. Architects and designers will receive support in creating 3D models from such data, enabling them to finalise the model with current BIM resources or modify it to present the energy efficiency benefits of various renovation options.
