- WHO WE ARE:
IRIA, the Immersive Realities Incubator in Almendralejo, is a cutting-edge facility supporting Extremadura’s entrepreneurship and business ecosystem through Virtual and Augmented Reality solutions. Managed by FUNDECYT-PCTEX in partnership with Red.es and the Regional Government, IRIA offers advanced spaces and services to develop, test, and scale innovative ventures. Part of Extremadura’s Technology Incubator Network, it provides pilot infrastructures, incubation, acceleration, and advisory programs to foster high-potential tech start-ups and projects based on immersive technologies.
- WHAT WE OFFER:
IRIA supports EU consortia in boosting creative startups and applied research in the Cultural and Creative Sectors (CCSI). We provide advanced XR facilities for prototyping, validating, and testing immersive heritage solutions, bridging ideas to scalable innovation. Our structured mentoring, technical support, regional networks, and pilot deployment ensure startups grow beyond the idea phase.
