HORIZON-WIDERA-2027-04: Iberian Center for Research in Energy Storage (CIIAE)
- QUIENES SOMOS:
CIIAE is a reference research centre in energy storage, advancing flexible and sustainable energy systems through R&D, technology validation and pilot-scale demonstration. It integrates labs, pilot plants and multidisciplinary teams to develop scalable solutions across electricity storage (batteries, supercapacitors), thermal storage and hydrogen/Power-to-X. With capabilities from TRL2–7, it combines modelling, prototyping, LCA and techno-economic analysis, contributing as technology developer, infrastructure provider, demonstrator, and project management and training partner.
- QUE OFRECEMOS:
We offer FUNDECYT and its research centre CIIAE as key partners to build a joint proposal in energy storage with entities from Widening countries. We seek R&I ecosystems, umbrella organisations or quadruple helix actors interested in collaboration in this field. With strong capacity in research, infrastructure and innovation, we are open to co-lead the proposal together with a Widening institution.
