New opportunity on sustainability and effeciency of drinking water networks!

The PIPEWISE project, proposed under the LIFE 2026 Circular Economy and Zero Pollution programme, aims to improve the sustainability and efficiency of European drinking water networks through advanced, non-intrusive inspection technologies developed by ACWA Robotics. The project focuses on integrating predictive and preventive maintenance approaches into water utilities’ asset management, enabling real-time inspections without service disruption and supporting data-driven decision-making. It will include multi-country demonstrations with large water utilities, environmental and economic impact assessments and the development of tools and business models for EU-wide replication. With a budget of approximately €3.5 million and a duration of 36 months, the project is seeking partners such as water utilities, technical experts, and dissemination actors, with an expression of interest deadline of 31 May 2026.
