The City of Bodø (Norway) is seeking partners for the Horizon Europe call HORIZON-NEB-2026-01-BUSINESS-03 to transform the former military and civil airport into a large-scale, sustainable urban district. Using the Hernes redevelopment area as a living lab, the project will test nature-based solutions, circular reuse of infrastructure and materials, urban agriculture, regenerative tourism, and inclusive place-making. Bodø aims to demonstrate how large infrastructure sites can be regenerated through innovative, climate-neutral, and socially inclusive urban development in line with New European Bauhaus principles. The expression of interest deadline is 1 December 2026.
