Turku University of Applied Sciences is looking for partners

Turku University of Applied Sciences (Finland) is seeking partners for Horizon Europe 2026–2027 calls and is open to collaboration across a wide range of topics. With strong experience in applied research and over 230 projects funded in 2024, Turku UAS offers expertise in areas such as climate, energy and mobility, digitalisation and AI, health and wellbeing, natural resources, and sustainable industry. The university provides advanced research infrastructure, accredited laboratories, and strong project management support, making it a reliable partner for EU consortia. Turku UAS welcomes collaboration with universities, public authorities, SMEs and civil society organisations, and invites interested partners to explore joint project ideas ahead of the 1 June 2026 expression of interest deadline.

Decontaminate and bioremediate aquatic pollution

Lyon Metropole and Artelia are seeking partners and a coordinator for a Horizon Europe project under the call HORIZON-CL6-2026-01-ZEROPOLLUTION-01, focused on developing and implementing solutions to decontaminate aquatic pollution. The project will address pollution in marine and freshwater ecosystems, including groundwater, with a particular focus on emerging contaminants such as PFAS, antimicrobials, and microplastics. It aims to combine bioremediation solutions, improved monitoring tools, scientific knowledge on pollutant impacts, and governance models involving local stakeholders. The consortium plans to include 6–8 pilot and replication sites across Europe and is especially seeking cities, regional authorities, and organisations able to provide real-world polluted sites. The call follows a two-stage process, with the first deadline on 16 April 2026 and an expression of interest deadline of 31 January 2026.

University of South Wales is looking for partners

South Wales Business School (University of South Wales) is seeking partners for Horizon Europe calls related to migration and democracy. The proposal builds on the expertise of Professor Palash Kamruzzaman, whose research focuses on forced displacement, dignity, and host community–refugee relations, with extensive fieldwork on Rohingya and Syrian refugee contexts in Bangladesh, Malaysia, Turkey, and Afghanistan. His work provides empirically grounded insights into humanitarian governance, refugee integration, and migration management, offering valuable lessons from the Global South to inform the implementation of the EU Pact on Migration and Asylum. The consortium welcomes partners from academia, public authorities, SMEs, and civil society, with an expression of interest deadline of 30 April 2026.
