- WHO WE ARE:
The University of Extremadura is the main public university in Extremadura with 4 campuses, over 24,000 students, and 2,405 researchers. Ranked 593 globally (SIR 2022) and Campus of International Excellence, it coordinates the EU GREEN alliance and participates in Horizon Europe and Erasmus+ projects. Its Neuroimmunophysiology and Chrononutrition group studies circadian rhythms, diet-health interactions, bioactive compounds, and conducts clinical trials with biomarker analysis.

For FARM2FORK topics, it could help designing intervention studies on functional foods affecting mood, sleep, cognition, and biomarkers, with a strong track record in multidisciplinary nutrition, physiology, and sustainability research.
