HORIZON-CL-2-2026-01-TRANSFO-04: University Institute for Educational Research and Foresight (INPEX) of the University of Extremadura
- QUIENES SOMOS:
UEX is the main public research and training institution in Extremadura, with four campuses, over 24,000 students and 2,400 researchers. It is internationally recognised (Shanghai Ranking, Campus of International Excellence, EU GREEN Alliance). The INPEX institute contributes strong interdisciplinary expertise in psychology, sociology, economics and communication, with experience in Horizon Europe, COST and national projects, advanced data analysis, mental health and social inclusion research, app development, and direct access to adolescents, university students, NGOs and tech companies.
- QUE OFRECEMOS:
The main objective is to analyse the relationship between digital technology use, academic performance, mental health and social exclusion in adolescents and young people. The team offers strong expertise in problematic internet use, gaming and gambling, quantitative data analysis and mental health research, with direct access to secondary schools and over 22,000 students at the University of Extremadura. Long-term collaboration with Cáritas enables research in vulnerable contexts, while partnerships with tech companies support app-based assessment tools.
